❤️ Weekend Favorites: how to break impulse shopping habits + 27 road trip snack recipes

Weekend Wisdom: When we get busy and overwhelmed, we forget how the simplest things can make us smile the most. Try to remember what makes you smile.

I have been removing things from my plate left and right. I'm not talking about my dinner plate but my things to do and care about plate. That plate fills up so easily. We barely notice until we are feeling the weight. After my last book came out, I removed all podcast and video interviews from my plate. It's been almost 16 months or so and I'm almost ready to bring them back.

After removing Instagram from my plate (and my phone) last fall for 30 days, I brought it back, and I just removed it again indefinitely. I share these two examples to say that it takes some experimenting to remove things and bring them back (or not). I never brought clutter, debt or drinking back after removing them. Other things come and go. Notice what's on your plate and what might need to be removed for a little while or forever. That space you make is so valuable.
