❤️ Weekend Favorites: kitchen decluttering, worry windows and slowing down

Weekend Wisdom: If you are worn out because you've been giving your all, pull back and save some of that time and energy just for you.

I'm embracing all of my simple pleasures. I want them all! Flowers, coffee, disco balls, and reading outside top the list. I wrote a chapter in GENTLE called Savor Simple Pleasures. I don’t save them for when my to-do list is complete or when I feel I’ve earned or deserved them. I take them for myself, for my heart and to enjoy my life.

Giving yourself simple pleasures on a consistent basis is something tangible that will help you define some of what “joy” means in your own life. If nothing else, simple pleasures make the journey a little sweeter. Do things that feel good not because you’ve earned them, but just because they feel good.
