❤️ Weekend Favorites: one touch tidying rule + a simpler closet

Weekend Wisdom: Instead of trying to manage everything, reduce everything. Because when it's too much, it's too much.

Wow what a week! It's the one year anniversary of Gentle, Rest More, Stress Less and Live The Life You Actually Want. I have to say that the anniversary week is much more relaxed than the launch week. It's been lovely to hear from people who have read or listened to the book who are giving themselves permission to rest and take care.

In other news, it is finally winter here! It's barely snowed at all and this week, we got lots of snow. I participated in a Mahjong open play and even though I really wanted to stay home (because I love staying home), I'm so glad I went. If there's something you've been wanting to try (but you love staying home too), maybe this is your sign!

Weekend Wisdom: Instead of drowning in scarcity mindset, simplifying allows you to thrive in a mindset of abundance or enoughness. Less really does become more. This week I came down with my first cold in three years! It's very mild but also I don't like it at all. Not a fan. I am surrounded by tissues, Advil and nose spray.
