Weekend Wisdom: Simplifying isn't always easy but it does make everything else easier.

File this under things I can enjoy without my phone. My daughter gave me this lovely watercolor book and I love it. My phone is spending more time on the charger while I spend more time living. I did a big app purge, my notifications are off and I started using my actual camera again.

I get it. The phone can simplify things. It reduces "stuff" but at what cost? My alarm clock, camera and watercolor set add value to my life by helping be less reliant on my phone and more present every day.
